CASSIE MARKHAM
I have been actively involved in the world of cheerleading for over 20 years. My love for the sport started in Colorado where I cheered growing up in both All Star and high school. After moving to Arizona in 2004, I focused on school at ASU to pursue a degree in Public Policy and Administration. In 2007, I started coaching first in All Star but shortly after, I made decision to also coach in the scholastic world.
Throughout the years I have found success in owning one of the largest and fastest growing All Star gyms in the state of Arizona and choreographing multiple National Title routines. I have also had the opportunity to coach at a very successful high school while developing one of the most powerful Jr. Varsity programs in the state. I am now lucky enough to be the Director of my school's entire spiritline to help continue to build success at a much smaller, yet growing, school in our state.
I have been involved in the Arizona cheerleading community for almost 17 years. I am an Arizona native and went to Flagstaff High School and then the University of Arizona to pursue Communications and Sports Management. At 18 years old, I became a camp instructor for the Universal Cheerleaders Association and after six years, I moved on full time with the company in the Varsity All Star division. I served as both a Sales and Experience Advisor for the Southwest and then spent almost two years as Varsity All Star's Social Media Coordinator and West Coast Marketing Specialist. I was a State Champion Head Coach for Greenway High School and Sabino High School. I am also the former Head Coach at Hamilton High School and the Arizona State University's Competitive Cheer program. I am now honored to serve as the Head Coach for one of the most distinguished and decorated programs in the state.
